UST Malaysia Hiring! Full Time Test Development Engineer (Fresh - Mandarin Speaker) in Pulau Pinang - Ricebowl

Job Summary: We are looking for Test Development Engineer for functional test analysis focusing primarily on hardware design, software development, and mechanical design.

What You Will Do: Help develop test solutions based on customer requirements and work on:

• Writing simple test programs / software
• Designing test hardware / fixture
• Supporting mechanical setup (with vendors)
• Set up and run test systems
• Install and debug test program
• Support system build and integration
• Improve test system performance
• Ensure test coverage and accuracy
• Support automation and reliability

Basic Skills Required:

• Recent fresh graduate in Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of any programming language, preferably LabVIEW.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Multimeter & Oscilloscope.
• Understand basic testing concepts.
• Excellent proficiency in English and able to read & write in Mandarin to interface with external and internal Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Good attitude, willing to learn, proactive.

Nice-to-Have (Bonus Skills) knowledge in:

• TestStand or other automation tools
• Programming for instrument control
• Familiar with lab equipment such as: Power supply, waveform generator, DAQ, etc
• Basic hardware knowledge (e.g., schematics).
