The Purchasing Executive is responsible for supporting soft furnishing and building material projects through procurement, supplier coordination, inventory monitoring, and project support. This role works closely with China suppliers, internal teams, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, timely delivery, and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities
• Source and coordinate with suppliers/manufacturers from China and local markets.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and monitor supplier performance.
• Coordinate inventory, logistics, and delivery schedules for projects.
• Verify invoices, Delivery Orders (DO), and Payment Requisition Forms (PRF).
• Maintain procurement, inventory, and supplier records.
• Prepare operational and purchasing reports for Management.
• Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, designers, consultants, and clients.
• Support process improvements and other duties assigned by Management.
Job Requirements
· Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Interior Design, Quantity Surveying, Logistics, or related fields.
· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sales support, or project coordination.
· Experience with China suppliers and import/export coordination is an advantage.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
· Good communication and negotiation skills.
· Mandarin proficiency is preferred for liaising with China suppliers.
