COOEC Hiring! Full Time Principal Structural Engineer in - Ricebowl

Job Summary and Principal Responsibilities

1. As Structure lead, be Responsible for project communication, discipline coordination, scheme discussion and formulation, etc.
2. Work scope and technical requirements identification.
3. Take part in the technical clarification and prepare discipline proposals.
4. Design, review and approval of Structure professional documents, and closure of owner opinions.
5. Responsible for coordinating, tracking, implementing and dealing with all kinds of problems in the Structure technical documents.
6. Responsible for preparing and review of technical documents for material bidding of Structure discipline, clarification of bid evaluation, vendor drawings review, FAT inspection and other procurement technical support work.
7. Responsible for the preparation or review of special reports, as well as the review of various calculation results.
8. Responsible for site coordination, scheme discussion and other technical support during project construction.
9. Complete other work assigned by Project Manager and Structure department.

Education/Experience Requirements/ Certification

(list minimum education and/or years of experience required)

1. Bachelor degree or above;
2. More than 15 years of experience in offshore engineering (offshore platform, FPSO and semi-submersible platform, etc.) structural design
3. Major in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering or structural engineering.
4. Familiar with the international standards for offshore structural engineering (API RP-2A, ISO 19901 etc.)

Behavioral/Technical Skills:

1. Fluent in spoken and written English.
2. Special requirement for Structural engineer: 1.Familiar with structural engineering works of offshore oil platform;2.Using SACS, AutoCAD softwares to perform structural engineering works;
3. Special requirement for Geotechnical and Foundation engineer: 1. Familiar with Geotechnical and Foundation engineering works of offshore oil platform;2. Using Grlweap, SACS, AutoCAD softwares to perform Geotechnical and Foundation engineering works.

Employment Type:

The employement type for this position is third-party staffing. The employees shall enter into an employment contract via HR agency and provide services to COOEC.
