Role Description This is a full-time, on-site PPC & CS role based in Bukit Mertajam. The role is responsible for production planning and control (PPC), including preparing and updating production schedules, monitoring work orders, and coordinating with production, warehouse, and procurement teams to ensure on-time delivery. The PPC & CS specialist will track capacity, material availability, and order status, resolve scheduling conflicts, and support continuous improvement of planning processes. On the customer service (CS) side, the role will manage customer orders and forecasts, respond to inquiries, coordinate delivery arrangements, and handle day-to-day communication with clients regarding schedules, changes, and issues. The individual will prepare regular reports on delivery performance, inventory status, and customer service metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high levels of service and operational efficiency.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in production planning, scheduling, and capacity planning, preferably in a manufacturing or metal components environment.
• Experience in customer service, order management, and client communication, with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Proficiency in using ERP/MRP systems, spreadsheets, and basic data analysis tools to manage orders, inventory, and production status.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as die casting, CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, or related operations is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on meeting deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are an added benefit.
• Ability to work on-site in Bukit Mertajam, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt in a fast-paced production environment.
• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
