Job Summary

You will assess, repair, and provide service support for inverter units and drive transmission products. This role involves investigating warranty claims, maintaining workshop organization, and delivering product training to customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house assessment & repair inverter units
• Investigate and verify customer warranty claims
• Provide outdoor service support and repair
• Organize and maintain proper housekeeping at the electronics service workshop including all tools / equipment and parts
• Provide product training to customers

Requirements

• Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / Mechatronic Engineering / ITE certification
• 1-5 years’ related work experience in service and repair of drive transmission products is an added advantage. (i.e. (i.e. Inverter, Servomotor, Gearboxes, Geared Motors, PLC programming etc.)
• Proficiency in English for communication and service report writing
• Basic troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and analyzing technical issues
• Ability to read schematics and perform soldering work
• Strong interpersonal communication/customer service skills are essential
• Independent, responsible and self-motivated with a hands-on approach to work. At times able to handle pressure and deadlines
• Able to read schematics and do soldering work
• Proficiency in English and service report writing is essential
• Proficient in Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Basic troubleshooting skills (i.e. Diagnose /Analysis/etc.) are required
• Willingness to travel locally at short notice. Rare occasions for regional travel
• Preferably a car driving license
• Most important aspect is willingness to learn with a proactive and positive working attitude
