Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Coordination

• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Prepare work schedules and monitor project progress.

2. Site Management

• Supervise daily site activities and construction works.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment utilization.
• Resolve technical and operational issues on site.

3. Quality Control

• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor workmanship and materials used in construction.
• Ensure defects are rectified promptly.
• Maintain quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) records.

4. Safety Management

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health regulations.
• Conduct site safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Enforce safety procedures and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with safety officers and relevant authorities.

5. Cost & Budget Control

• Monitor project costs and expenditures.
• Assist in budget preparation and cost forecasting.
• Review variation orders and subcontractor claims.
• Control material wastage and optimize resources.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Maintain project records, drawings, and technical documents.
• Submit reports to management and clients.
• Track project milestones and deliverables.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering
• Knowledge of construction methods, regulations, and safety standards.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Project, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
