PROJECT MANAGER
Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Project Manager with mid-level experience to lead the RISE programme in Malaysia. This role will take full ownership of programme delivery locally while working closely with regional teams. The Project Manager will also serve as the key liaison for Malaysia-based clients, ensuring strong client management, data-driven reporting, and continuous programme improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Programme Leadership (Malaysia)
- Take full ownership of the programme in Malaysia, ensuring successful end-to-end delivery
- Adapt and execute programme strategies in alignment with regional frameworks
- Ensure consistency in delivery standards while localising for market needs
Regional Coordination
- Work closely with the General Manager (Projects) based in the Philippines to align on strategy, execution, and reporting
- Maintain awareness of programme implementation across other regions to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing
- Contribute insights and best practices to improve regional programme delivery
Client & Stakeholder Management (Malaysia-Based)
- Act as the primary point of contact for Malaysia-based clients
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular updates and engagement
- Translate programme outcomes into clear, value-driven insights for clients
Project Delivery & Operations
- Plan, manage, and execute programme timelines, resources, and deliverables
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including trainers, partners, and internal staff
- Ensure smooth operations from participant onboarding to programme completion
Data Analysis, Reporting & Insights
- Analyse programme data to track performance, outcomes, and impact (e.g., income uplift, engagement)
- Develop clear, structured reports and dashboards for internal and client use according to glabal standards
- Proactively identify what insights should be reported to demonstrate value and impact
- Use data to recommend actionable improvements to programme design and delivery
Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate programme effectiveness and identify opportunities for enhancement
- Propose and implement improvements to increase efficiency, scalability, and impact
- Leverage tools, systems, and best practices to optimise programme delivery
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the social impact / livelihood development ecosystem, including how programmes drive measurable outcomes
- Familiarity with working with corporate funders (e.g., ESG, CSR, or foundation programmes) and understanding client expectations on impact and reporting.
- 3–6 years of experience in project or programme management
- Experience managing Malaysia-based corporate clients; exposure to regional projects is a strong advantage
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights and recommendations
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different geographies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in social impact, training programmes, or community development is an advantage
- Familiarity with project management and reporting tools
Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
