JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing detailed technical drawings and design documentation in accordance with project requirements, engineering standards, and regulatory guidelines. This role also provides guidance and supervision to junior drafters to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables.

DETAILED LIST OF RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings and models using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Prepare drawings that accurately represent engineering designs, specifications, and project requirements.
• Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes or modifications.
• Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to gather requirements and ensure the accuracy of designs.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss design concepts and modifications.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of designs.
• Conduct thorough reviews of drawings and models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to industry standards.
• Perform quality checks on drawings and identify potential issues or errors.
• Implement best practices and standards for drafting and design work.
• Maintain organized records of all drawings, specifications, and related documents.
• Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed documentation to support design processes and project requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve drafting processes and workflows.
• Implement new tools, technologies, and methods to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Stay updated with advancements in drafting software and techniques.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least bachelor’s degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Drafting or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience
• Must be able to speak fluent Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong understanding of engineering and architectural principles.
• Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and specifications.
• Leadership and mentoring skills.
• Able to start IMMEDIATELY

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
