The Production Executive oversees manufacturing operations, ensuring that production processes run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards. This role involves process planning, coordination, and optimization, as well as implementing continuous improvement strategies to meet production goals, control costs & deliver high-quality products that satisfy customer requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to achieve targets in quality, cost, and delivery.
- Optimize material handling processes to ensure efficient flow of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Prepares and organize Production Planning and Raw Materials Planning according to Customer’s Purchase Order/Delivery Instruction and Forecast
- Ensure on time delivery of Finished Goods and meets customer’s requirement.
- Coordinate with Warehouse and Purchasing teams to ensure timely availability and proper storage of materials.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for customer RFQs, including materials, labor, and overheads, to support pricing and quotations.
- Ensure production processes comply with company procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Monitor manpower allocation, machine utilization, and material usage to maintain smooth production operations.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Warehouse teams to resolve production and material-related issues.
- Prepare and maintain production and material-related reports, including output, consumption, and variances.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize material movement.
- Ensure consistent implementation of 5S, safety practices, and housekeeping standards in production and material handling areas.
- Support internal and external audits, inspections, and management reviews as required.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing.
- Possess strong understanding of production processes, material flow, and quality requirements.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong communication skills to report progress, issues, and improvement initiatives to management.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
