Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Sales Engineer role based in Shah Alam. The Technical Sales Engineer will identify and develop new business opportunities, prepare proposals and quotations, and follow up with prospects to close sales. The role includes providing technical consultation on industrial pumps and related solutions, matching customer requirements with appropriate products and services. The Technical Sales Engineer will conduct site visits, product presentations, and demonstrations, as well as coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate specifications, timely delivery, and after-sales support. Daily responsibilities also involve maintaining customer relationships, responding to inquiries, preparing reports, and monitoring market trends and competitor activities.

Qualifications

  • Strong Technical Sales and Sales Engineering skills to understand customer needs and propose suitable pump solutions.
  • Experience in Sales and account management, including prospecting, pipeline management, and closing deals.
  • Ability to provide Technical Support, including basic troubleshooting, product selection, and application recommendations.
  • Effective Communication skills for engaging with customers, preparing proposals, and collaborating with internal teams.
  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Knowledge of industrial pumps or fluid handling systems is highly preferred; experience in relevant industries (chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, or manufacturing) is an advantage.
  • Comfortable working on-site and visiting customer facilities, including industrial environments.
  • Proficiency in basic office and CRM software, with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.


Remuneration Package

  • High Basic Salary with Sales Commission, Incentives, 13th Month Contractual Bonus, Performance Bonus
