JOKER (FAR EAST) LTD is part of the of JOKER Group with its headquarter in Switzerland. We are well reputated for outstanding achievements in the field of COMPOUNDS and highly specialized in developing such compounds for well-known applications in the field of consumer products such as “SLIMY”, “Cyber-CLEAN” and other brands. Our R&D Chemist team are expanding their activities and we are looking for:

EXPERIENCED CHEMIST
with outstanding professional achievements and strong leadership capabilities!

Job Location:  In our own modern Laboratory in Lai Chi Kok / Tsim Sha Tsui

Languages:   Written proficiency in English, Cantonese & Mandarin, other languages skills welcome

Education:  PhD, or Master degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Polymer Chemistry or related disciplines (Knowledge of EN 71, ATSM and similar regulations would be welcome)

Experience:  Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience

 Requirements

• We do look for a “Hands-On personality” with a positive attitude towards challenges.

• Experienced in Chemical compliance matters is a plus.

• Experienced in Polymer Chemistry, Cosmetics and other consumer products.

• Excellent skills in material engineering and chemical formulation process

• Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on time management

 Job Duties

• To formulate compounds with applications in the field of Toys

• To formulate compounds, materials with unique properties

• Testing and evaluate the quality of our compounds

• Analyze lab and production sample deviation

• Ensure compliance with test and standards

• Ensure thorough Documentation

• Prepare lab-scale batches, pilot batches and scale up to production for the factory

• Contact with our international customers

• Regular contact with the China Factories

• Maintenance of the ERP System and preparation of various protocols

Availability:  Immediate

Salary: Upon qualification and experience, less experience will be considered as Chemist
