Full-Stack Software Engineer (IoT Platform Development)

IoT Startup

// Responsibilities

  • Lead front-end development of the IoT platform (React), implementing device management, data dashboards, and other core modules

  • Develop and maintain backend API services (NodeJS), ensuring system stability and scalability

  • Design and manage database structures (PostgreDB)

  • Maintain and optimise CI/CD deployment pipelines

  • Integrate with IoT device data, building real-time monitoring dashboards and time-series data visualizations

  • Explore and analyse sensor data to help optimize the alert mechanism

  • Leverage AI tools to increase productivity

  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions, maintain technical documentation, and establish engineering foundations for future team growth

// Requirements

  • 3–5 years of full-stack development experience, with a track record of independently delivering projects

  • Proficient in React, with UI/UX implementation capability

  • Backend development skills in NodeJS

  • DevOps experience is a plus

  • Cloud platform experience (AWS is a plus)

  • Proficient in using AI coding tools as part of daily development

  • Self-motivated, able to work independently within a team

  • Familiarity with MQTT protocol or experience with IoT/embedded systems integration is a plus

  • Basic machine learning knowledge is a plus
