A leading global bank with a well-established presence across APAC is looking to hire a Quantitative Developer into its Rates business, based in Hong Kong. The team operates as part of a wider global quant function, and the role offers genuine scope for collaboration across regions and asset classes.

The Role

You will work closely with traders, structurers, and quant researchers to develop, maintain, and enhance pricing and risk models within the Rates space. This is a hands-on development role where the ability to write clean, efficient code is as important as your understanding of the underlying products.

What They Are Looking For

1. At least 5 years of experience in a dedicated quantitative developer role, within a bank or similar financial institution
2. StrongPython skills -- this is the primary language for the team; proficiency inC++ or C# is also advantageous
3. Solid grounding in Rates products; experience withNon-Linear Rates is advantageous and will strengthen your application
4. The ability to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a distributed global quant team -- this is as important to the hiring manager as technical depth
5. Strong academic background in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar)
