Job Responsibilities:

• Develop Linux/UNIX shell scripts to automate routine operational tasks, system health checks, and automation workflows.

• Manage and optimize various database management systems (RDBMS), including PostgreSQL, Sybase, Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.

• Maintain system health utilizing tools like Grafana to identify performance bottlenecks.

• Resolve complex issues related to applications and multi-database environments.

• Ensure data integrity and backup procedures are strictly maintained across all database platforms.

• Provide 24x7 product support on roster basis.

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence or a related field.

• At least 1 year hands-on experience in administration of databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, Sybase, Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL).

• Experienced with UNIX and Linux shell script.

• Knowledge of monitoring tools and automation script development (Grafana, Selenium).

• Knowledge of database migration Change Data Capture tools (Pentaho, Ninedata).

• Experienced in Kubernetes operation and monitoring & SRE practices will be an advantage.

• Able to work independently, willingness to learn and listen.

• Good communication skills in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
