About the role
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our team at CHAO SHAN DESA CEMERLANG SDN. BHD.' in Kulai, Johor. This full-time position is crucial in supporting our accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial records.
What you'll be doing
Maintaining and updating financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, petty cash, and bank reconciliations
Preparing and processing invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
Assisting with the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
Performing data entry and other administrative tasks related to the accounting function
Providing support to the finance team as needed
What we're looking for
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in the Accounts Officers/Clerks sub-industry
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the finance team and other departments
Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
