Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and oversee food production for catering events and daily operations.
Ensure all food is prepared according to quality, presentation, and portion standards.
Coordinate kitchen activities to meet event schedules and delivery timelines.
Monitor food costs and minimize food wastage.
Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards in accordance with company policies.
Supervise, train, and guide kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Manage inventory, stock control, and ingredient ordering.
Assist in menu planning, recipe standardization, and food costing.
Ensure proper storage, handling, packing, and transportation of food products.
Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
Requirements
Minimum Certificate/Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field.
At least 2–5 years of experience in catering, central kitchen, or commercial kitchen operations.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, food safety, and hygiene standards.
Ability to manage kitchen operations and lead a team effectively.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and flexible hours when required.
