About the role

This is a full-time Maintenance Project Manager (Data Centre) role at BRIGHTRAY ASSET MANAGEMENT SDN. BHD. based in Kulai Johor. You will be responsible for leading and overseeing the maintenance and smooth operation of the company's data centre facilities.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans and strategies for the data centre infrastructure

2. Coordinate and oversee all maintenance activities, including proactive and reactive maintenance, to ensure optimal performance and uptime

3. Manage and monitor maintenance budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships

4. Identify and address potential issues or risks to the data centre, implementing preventative measures and solutions

5. Lead a team of technicians and engineers, providing direction, training, and performance management

6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as IT, operations, and facilities, to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities

7. Continuously monitor industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for process improvements and technological advancements

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Project Manager or in a similar role in the data centre or IT infrastructure industry

2. Strong technical knowledge and understanding of data centre systems, including power, cooling, and network infrastructure

3. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and execute complex maintenance projects

4. Proven experience in leading and managing a team of technicians and engineers

5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically

6. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

7. Relevant certifications or qualifications in project management, data centre operations, or facility management
