HR Manager (Regional)

Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with an organisation in the Industrial industry to hire a Regional HR Manager. This opportunity is based in Selangor, Malaysia.

Position Overview

This role is responsible for supporting regional HR operations and transformation initiatives across Malaysia & APAC region, with a focus on digitalisation and process improvement. The position will play a key role in supporting HR operational excellence while aligning regional practices with global frameworks.

Job Description
  • Support APAC regional HR operations by working closely with the regional HR leadership team to drive operational initiatives, coordinate projects, and oversee regional HR operational activities across the region
  • Drive HR centralisation and digitalisation initiatives, including database migration, process standardisation, and system improvements
  • Support the implementation and alignment of HR processes in accordance with global HR frameworks and regional requirements
  • Optimise HR systems and reporting tools such as Workday and Power BI dashboards to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency
  • Support HR shared services operations and coordinate with internal stakeholders across multiple countries within APAC
  • Manage operational HR tasks while balancing multiple priorities and ongoing regional projects
  • Support the development and enhancement of employee engagement platforms and culture initiatives across the APAC region, bringing innovative ideas and fresh perspectives to drive employee experience and engagement programs
  • Work closely with regional HR leadership to support ongoing HR transformation and optimisation projects
Key Requirements
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in a similar field
  • Experience in HR operations, HR generalist, or HR Business Partner (HRBP) roles within a regional environment
  • Exposure to HR transformation or process improvement initiatives is highly advantageous and critical for the role
Technical / Functional Expertise
  • Familiarity with Workday and HR reporting tools such as Power BI
  • Experience supporting HR operations and employee engagement initiatives
  • Understanding of HR processes, systems, and policy alignment
Soft Skills & Leadership Competencies
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on, adaptable, and proactive working style
