About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Support Intern to join our team in Klang, Selangor. This internship provides valuable hands-on experience in sales administration, customer communication, and logistics operations. The successful candidate will work closely with our sales team to support daily business activities while gaining practical industry knowledge and professional development.
What You'll Be DoingMake daily outbound calls to existing and potential customers to introduce company services and follow up on sales opportunities
Maintain regular communication with customers and assist in handling enquiries
Update and maintain customer databases and sales records accurately
Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, and sales-related documentation
Support the sales team in customer follow-ups and appointment scheduling
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery
Assist in processing customer orders and shipment-related requests
Prepare and update sales reports, customer call reports, and activity trackers
Organise and maintain proper filing of sales documents and records
Support marketing and customer engagement initiatives when required
Perform general administrative duties and assist with ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisors
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Confident in speaking with customers over the phone
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and eagerness to take initiative
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Customer-oriented mindset with a professional attitude
Basic understanding of logistics and sales processes is an added advantage
Practical exposure to the logistics and freight forwarding industry
Hands-on experience in sales support and customer relationship management
