Production Planner

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer demand, sales forecasts, and production capacity.

• Monitor production schedules and adjust plans to meet changing customer requirements.

• Perform capacity planning to ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and production resources.

• Coordinate with production teams to resolve scheduling constraints and achieve on-time delivery.

• Liaise directly with customers regarding forecasts, delivery schedules, order changes, and shipment commitments.

• Support sales projection planning by reviewing demand forecasts and customer requirements.

• Analyze demand fluctuations and recommend appropriate planning actions.

• Coordinate with Customer, and Production to meet delivery commitments.

• Analyze planning data, production performance, inventory reports, and forecast accuracy.

• Monitor production output, material shortages, and delivery performance.

• Build strong working relationships with customers.

Material Planner

• Plan material requirements based on customer forecasts, usage trends, lead times, safety stock, and inventory targets.

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure sufficient materials are available while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.

• Analyze material consumption and continuously improve planning accuracy.

• Manage inventory turnover and recommend actions to optimize stock levels.

• Perform regular inventory analysis and support stock reconciliation.

• Communicate with suppliers to ensure on-time material deliveries and expedite urgent requirements when necessary.

• Resolve supply issues and coordinate recovery plans to minimize production disruptions.

• Support purchasing activities, including purchase requisitions, purchase order approval follow-up, supplier coordination, and delivery monitoring.

• Monitor production output, material shortages, and delivery performance.

• Monitor material liabilities arising from forecast changes, excess inventory, order cancellations, and engineering changes.

• Claim material liability to customer

• Analyze potential liability risks and recommend mitigation plans.

• Control inventory carrying costs while maintaining supply continuity.

ISO & Audit Compliance

• Ensure compliance with ISO procedures, work instructions, and company policies.

• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.

• Participate in ISO audits and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Maintain accurate planning records and documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Production Planning, Material Planning, Supply Chain, in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience dealing directly with customers and suppliers is preferred.

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.

• Good understanding of production planning, capacity planning, material planning, and inventory control.

• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems , Power point and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis).

• Good communication skills.

• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and strong ownership of responsibilities

• Sensitive to numbers, inventory accuracy, planning risks, and liability management.

• Strong attendance record with high punctuality and reliability.

• Knowledge of ISO systems and audit requirements.
