About the role

Wonderspire Group is seeking a highly motivated and skilled STEM Teacher to join our team in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.

In this full-time position, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and enriching STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) lessons to primary school students, fostering their curiosity and passion for these critical subjects.

What you'll be doing

1. Plan and deliver dynamic STEM lessons that align with the curriculum and capture students' interest

2. Develop innovative teaching strategies and resources to enhance student learning and engagement

3. Teach Coding using Scrath and Python.

4. Collaborate with fellow teachers to share best practices and support the overall STEM education program

5. Assess student progress, provide feedback, and adjust teaching methods to meet individual needs

6. Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with the latest STEM teaching methodologies

7. Contribute to the wider school community by organising STEM-related events and activities

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Education, Engineering, IT or a STEM-related field

2. Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience, preferably in primary education

3. Excellent knowledge of STEM subjects and the ability to make complex topics accessible to young learners

4. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

5. Creativity and problem-solving skills to design engaging and interactive lessons

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues

7. Passion for STEM education and a commitment to nurturing the next generation of scientific and technological leaders
