About the role

We are seeking a driven and experienced Resident Engineer to join our team in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. This is a contract role where you will be responsible for overseeing the technical delivery and operations of our clients' engineering projects.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and coordinate the technical aspects of engineering projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery

• Liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical expertise

• Monitor project progress, identify and resolve technical issues, and implement corrective actions as needed

• Prepare and present technical reports, documentation and proposals

• Ensure projects comply with relevant engineering standards, regulations and safety protocols

• Provide on-site support and supervision to the project team

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and practices

• Visit site once a week

What we're looking for

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Resident Engineer or in a similar role

• Registered with Energy Commission Malaysia (ST) as an Electrical Engineer

• Strong technical expertise in electrical/electronic engineering, with a good understanding of project management principles

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a problem-solving mindset

• Proficient in project management tools and software

• Familiarity with relevant engineering regulations, standards and safety protocols
