Client Details

• Our client is listed MNC, growing globally and with product lines that operate across e-commerce platforms (regionally). Your role will be more aligned to that of a de-facto General Counsel with the usual autonomy, visibility and accountability often seen much later in your In-House career.

Focus of Work

• Commercial: 75%
• Regulatory & Compliance: 15%
• Regional Projects: 10%

Job Description

• You will manage commercial matters which include contract negotiations, licensing, e-commerce compliance issues and day to day advisory requests.
• Non-contentious matters include product launch, marketing campaigns, market growth and sales solutions.
• You will work closely with in-country counsel and if required, manage external counsel.
• Candidates are also expected to develop frameworks and ensure key stakeholders are informed on fast changing rules and regulations.

Requirements:

• 6 - 10 PQE
• Educated and trained in top tier establishments
• Candidates must have a solid background in commercial matters across e-commerce platforms / products.
• Candidates will also have a solid understanding of commercial, cross-border regulatory and compliance matters
• Candidates can manage Asia-wide stakeholders and both internal and external clients
