Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Engineer role based in Singapore. The Project Engineer will plan, coordinate, and execute solar and energy-related projects from design through commissioning, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Daily activities include reviewing technical specifications and drawings, performing site assessments, preparing project schedules, and coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and vendors. The role involves monitoring project progress, managing technical issues, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and preparing documentation and reports. The Project Engineer will also support continuous improvement initiatives, contribute to technical proposals, and assist in optimizing system performance for customers.
Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications for solar or energy systems.
  • Demonstrated Project Management and Project Planning skills, including scheduling, resource coordination, and risk management across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, contractors, vendors, and customers, and for preparing clear technical reports and documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience in solar PV, renewable energy, or power systems engineering is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations applicable to electrical and solar installations in Singapore.
  • Proficiency with project and engineering tools (e.g., MS Project or similar scheduling tools, CAD or PV design software) is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with a proactive approach to on-site challenges and stakeholder expectations.
