Project Overview
The project aims to combine easy-to-learn gameplay, strong visual appeal, and long-term progression and collection systems. Our art style references include:
Monopoly GO! – Bright, casual, highly commercialized, with clear and satisfying reward feedback.
Astro Bot – High-quality 3D PBR visuals, charming and rounded character designs, and a rich world-building experience.
Palworld – Creature/companion collection and progression systems, highly recognizable characters, and a strong sense of companionship and growth.
We are looking for an Art Partner / Game Artist with experience or interest in:
Exploring and defining art styles for casual games
- Character, creature, and companion design
- Board maps, islands, buildings, and simulation/management environments
- Creating cute, heartwarming worlds and visual storytelling
- Reward presentation, progression feedback, and UI visuals in commercial game products
- Visual design for character progression, pet progression, and collection systems
- Participating in the full art production pipeline, from concept design to final in-game assets
Requirements
- Passion for casual, simulation, and progression-based games
- Strong artistic sense and design fundamentals
- Understanding of the visual needs of commercial games, including clarity, attractiveness, and strong player feedback
- A portfolio demonstrating character design, environment design, 3D PBR asset creation, or game development experience
- Experience with games similar to Monopoly GO, simulation games, creature collection games, pet progression games, or other 3D game projects is highly preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in game art, visual design, or related game development fields.
- Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or higher qualification in Art, Game Design, Animation, Multimedia Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Passion for casual, simulation, and progression-based games.
- Strong artistic sense, design fundamentals, and visual storytelling skills.
- Understanding of the visual requirements of commercial games, including clarity, attractiveness, and strong player feedback.
- A portfolio demonstrating character design, environment design, 3D PBR asset creation, or game development experience.
- Experience with games similar to Monopoly GO, simulation games, creature collection games, pet progression games, or other 3D game projects is highly preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience working on casual, party, simulation, or progression-based game projects
- Familiarity with Unity art asset pipelines and production standards
- Experience shipping a complete game project
- Ability to contribute to early-stage art direction, visual style exploration, and art guideline creation
- Strong design skills in cute characters, creature companions, stylized buildings, and themed maps
