JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Planning and preparation of production schedules: Draws up schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.

2. Compile information, such as production rates and progress, materials inventories, materials used and customer information, so that status reports can be completed.

3. Examine documents, materials & products and monitor work processess, in order to assess competeness, accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications.

4. Review documents such as production schedules, work orders and forms to determine personnel and materials requirements and material priorities.

5. Coordination with department heads to determine status of scheduled orders.

6. Revise production schedules when required due to process changes, labour or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production and engineering.

7. Confer with department personnel (products/sales & marketing) to access progress and discuss needed changes.

8. Distribute production schedules and work orders to production person in charge.

9. Establish and prepare product construction directions and locations, and information on required tools, materials, equipment and numbers of workers needed.

10. Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials and quality control measure.

11. To assist superior for production and raw material planning schedules. 12. To submit production monthly report to superior on time.

13. To carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Superior from time to time.

Qualification

1. Minimum Diploma in Planning/ Management or related field

2. Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in production planning .

3. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills as well as a good command of written and spoken English

4. Highly motivated and self-directed capable of multi-tasking, and able to work with minimal supervision.

5. A team player with leadership qualities and interpersonal skills

6. Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.

7. Good Planning skills in production materials, capacity and resources.

8. Knowledge in computer application.

9. Working knowledge in ISO9001, IATF16949 will be an advantage.

10. Good time management skills.

11. Positive attitude and positive thinking.
