Key Responsibilities

Technical Drawing & Design

·       Prepare detailed engineering and construction drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software.

·       Produce and update drawings for:

o   Earthworks and site grading

o   Drainage systems

o   Retaining walls and slope protection works

o   infrastructure works

o   Temporary works and traffic management plans

·       Prepare shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings.

·       Convert engineers' and consultants' designs into detailed working drawings.

Site Coordination

·       Liaise with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Surveyors, and Site Supervisors regarding project requirements and drawing revisions.

·       Incorporate site changes and consultant instructions into revised drawings.

Documentation & Drawing Control

·       Maintain drawing registers and revision records.

·       Ensure only the latest approved drawings are issued to project teams.

·       Organize and archive project drawings and technical documentation.

·       Assist in preparing documents required for project submissions and approvals.

Survey & Quantity Support

·       Assist surveyors and engineers in preparing layout drawings based on survey data.

·       Support quantity take-off exercises from construction drawings when required.

·       Assist in preparing progress drawings and project reports.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

·       Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, local authority requirements, and industry standards.

·       Review drawings for completeness, constructability, and accuracy before issuance.

·       Assist project teams in resolving drawing discrepancies and technical issues.

Qualifications

Experience

·       Minimum 5 years' experience in construction drafting.

·       Experience in earthwork, drainage, or infrastructure projects is preferred.

·       Experience preparing as-built drawings for completed construction projects is an advantage.

Technical Skills

·       Proficient in AutoCAD .

·       Knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D or Terramodel software is an added advantage.

·       Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and survey data.

·       Good understanding of civil construction methods and site practices.

Additional Duties

The employee shall perform any other drafting, technical, administrative, or project-related duties assigned by management from time to time as may be reasonably required for the efficient operation of the Company's construction projects and business activities.
