Job Descriptions:

• Review 100% of annotated tiles assigned to you on the ARBOROS platform- this is the primary quality-control layer.

• For each tile, check the Annotator's work and take the right action: 

1. Add a missed tree the Annotator did not draw. 

2. Remove a false positive - something marked as a tree that isn't (oil palm, shadow, shrub, rooftop), with a documented reason. 

3. Edit a crown boundary that doesn't match the real canopy. 

4. Flag for field check where a case genuinely cannot be settled from the image.

5. Override "Tile Empty" if the Annotator missed trees entirely. 

• Apply the Written Guidelines and Visual Reference Atlas consistently across every tile.

• Maintain a high catch rate while keeping genuine, correct annotations intact (don't "over-correct").

• Take part in calibration, refresher sessions, and team check-ins. 

Job Requirements:

• SPM (or equivalent) minimum; a Diploma is preferred. 

• Strong computer literacy - confident and precise with a desktop computer, mouse, and on-screen tools. 

• Sound judgment and attention to detail - able to spot small errors and decide consistently against a written standard. 

• Able to read, interpret and apply written guidelines in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Must pass the Reviewer Calibration Set during onboarding - this is a most important requirement. 

• Preferred:

1. Prior experience in annotation, quality control, inspection, proofreading, or other detail checking work. 

2. Experience with image editing, mapping/GIS tools, or any task needing fine visual precision.

3. Background or interest in geography, landscaping, horticulture, forestry, or environmental studies.

3. Comfort with focused screen work for extended periods (with regular breaks). 

What We Offer:

• Contract: 6-month fixed-term, full-time. Renewable based on project workload and individual performance.

• Performance Bonus: Up to RM500/month on top of base, tied to meeting your review quota and maintaining quality (a low rate of errors slipping past you, as measured by the Senior Reviewer's audit). The bonus is gated on quality - speed alone does not earn it.

• Standard office hours, Monday - Friday. Employees work 8 hours per day with a 1 hour lunch break (8:30am - 5:30pm).
