We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented fresh graduate to join our team as a technician. This role is responsible for operating and setting up manual machining equipment to produce precision components according to drawings and specifications. It involves hands-on machining, measurement, basic machine maintenance, and adherence to safety and quality standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist & support senior machinist and engineer in setting up machines with tools & materials, fixture alignment, basic programming and machine adjustments.
• Machine operation & machining tasks such as operate manual milling machines and forming machines.
• Set up machines according to job requirements and technical drawings.
• Perform manual micro drilling and milling operation based on drawings and specifications.
• Perform deburring, buffing and polishing of machined/tooling parts.
• Fabricate manual epoxy moulds when required.
• Measure and inspect machined parts using precision measuring instruments including Vernier callipers, Micrometres, Dial indicators, Height gauges and etc.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on machines
• Check and maintain lubrication systems, coolant levels, and overall machine condition
• Maintain 5S standards and good housekeeping in the work area.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma, Certificate, or SKM qualification in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Tool & Die, Precision Machining, or others.
• Basic knowledge of machining processes and manual milling operations.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
