About the Role
Are you a technical sales professional who loves designing cutting-edge automation and closing premium deals, but wants to step away from endless on-site troubleshooting? Simtone Marketing is seeking a dynamic leader to spearhead our System Sales & Automation division.
In this role, you will have complete commercial and technical ownership of our automation pipeline. Your market will span ultra-premium residential projects (luxury villas, bungalows, and high-end smart homes) using sophisticated KNX and IoT systems, as well as large-scale commercial/hospitality projects utilizing GRMS/RCU architectures.
You are not alone: While you will orchestrate the full project lifecycle, you will lead a dedicated team of technicians and partners who handle the physical deployment, programming, and on-site troubleshooting. Your core focus will be on technical consulting, system architecture design, active sales acquisition, and closing high-value project deals.
What You Will Do
- Lead & Drive Sales: Head the Smart Automation division with a strong focus on active business development—proactively hunting, pitching, and closing premium automation contracts for luxury residential developments and commercial projects.
- Pre-Sales Engineering & Specification: Consult with high-end developers, luxury interior designers, and M&E consultants to "spec-in" Simon's elite systems. Design bespoke residential smart layouts, KNX topologies, and commercial GRMS architectures.
- Post-Sales Project Oversight: Manage the project flow. You will direct your team of technicians to execute the actual testing, commissioning, and on-site handover.
- Relationship Management: Act as the trusted technical and commercial bridge between affluent clients, designers, main contractors, and your execution team.
What We Are Looking For
- Automation Expertise: Strong technical understanding of Smart Home/IoT ecosystems (Zigbee, Wi-Fi) alongside robust protocols like KNX systems and GRMS/RCU hotel architectures.
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years in Technical Sales, Pre-Sales Engineering, or System Integration. Experience dealing with premium residential projects or luxury building materials is highly valued.
- Sales Grit & Leadership: A self-starter who knows how to approach luxury market stakeholders, present sophisticated solutions, close deals, and guide a technical execution team
- Mobility: Must possess your own transport for client meetings and key site coordination.
