Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in Kempas. The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project execution, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource coordination for construction projects. Responsibilities include managing site activities, supervising contractors and subcontractors, and ensuring work complies with design specifications, safety standards, and local regulations. The role involves preparing and reviewing project documentation, progress reports, and method statements, as well as tracking milestones and addressing risks or delays. The Project Manager will also liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to resolve issues, manage variations, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and site coordination.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Ability to prepare and interpret project documentation such as drawings, specifications, reports, and progress schedules.
• Effective stakeholder management skills, including coordination with clients, consultants, authorities, and subcontractors.
• Strong leadership, team supervision, and conflict-resolution abilities at site level.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Good proficiency in project management tools and basic office software (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Word).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document issues and present updates clearly.
• Ability to work on-site in Kempas, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a dynamic construction environment.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant professional certifications in project or construction management are an advantage.
• Familiarity with local construction practices and regulatory processes in Malaysia is beneficial.
