Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engineering strategies to optimize construction project outcomes and align with company goals
• Monitor and verify progress of paper documentation and on-site construction activities to ensure project milestones are met
• Conduct project safety briefings to enforce compliance with safety standards and promote a secure work environment
• Manage materials ordering and usage to control costs and minimize waste throughout construction phases
• Supervise construction teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and timely completion of tasks
• Drive improvements in work quantity and quality to enhance overall company performance and client satisfaction
• Ensure all structures are constructed safely and with maximum structural integrity according to engineering specifications
• Report project status, challenges, and achievements regularly to the Director and Project Manager
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate project progress
• Perform miscellaneous duties and ad hoc tasks as required to support project and organizational needs

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil & Structural Engineering
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in the construction industry
