The role acts as the primary interface between business functions, external service providers, and global IT stakeholders, ensuring service excellence, technology governance, data integrity, and effective delivery of digital initiatives across the region.

The position combines strategic leadership with operational oversight and requires a hands-on individual who can drive organizational change, align stakeholders, and establish scalable governance frameworks across a growing regional business.

The IT & Digitalisation Strategy Manager reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Your main responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the regional IT and digitalisation strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, governance requirements, and global technology standards.
  • Manage the regional IT service landscape, including external service providers, consultants, software vendors, and cloud providers, ensuring service delivery, SLA compliance, and continuous service improvement.
  • Act as the primary regional interface between business stakeholders, technical teams, external partners, and global IT functions, ensuring alignment of technology initiatives and business requirements.
  • Define and implement governance frameworks covering data ownership, software lifecycle management, cybersecurity, system integration, cloud services, and enterprise applications.
  • Lead digital transformation and organizational change initiatives, driving stakeholder alignment, process standardization, and adoption of scalable technology solutions across business functions.
  • Establish and maintain regional data governance standards and support the development of integrated reporting, analytics, and business intelligence capabilities.
  • Support implementation, optimization, and governance of enterprise platforms including ERP, CRM, asset management systems, financial systems, project management tools, and the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Monitor service performance, operational KPIs, incidents, risks, and service management metrics, ensuring effective escalation management, reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead regular service review meetings with internal stakeholders and external providers, ensuring accountability, service quality, and alignment with evolving business requirements.
  • Manage software licensing, technology budgets, vendor contracts, procurement activities, and technology cost transparency across the regional portfolio.
  • Oversee workplace technology standards including laptops, mobile devices, meeting room technology, office IT equipment, hardware lifecycle management, and end-user support coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements, information security standards, corporate policies, and regulatory obligations across all regional technology services.
  • Support regional office expansions, acquisitions, business integrations, and strategic projects, ensuring technology readiness and operational effectiveness.

Your qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7–12+ years of relevant experience in IT management, digital transformation, enterprise applications, technology strategy, or governance roles.
  • Proven experience managing external IT service providers, software vendors, and technology partners within a multi-country environment.
  • Strong understanding of technology governance, enterprise applications, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, data management, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience establishing governance frameworks, driving organizational change, and managing stakeholders across business and technical functions.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture, SaaS ecosystems, system integration, data governance, and business intelligence solutions.
  • Experience working with Microsoft technologies including Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.
  • Hands-on and independent individual who possesses initiative, adaptability, and the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Additional language skills, particularly Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean, would be advantageous in supporting regional stakeholder engagement across APAC.
