The Contract Executive/Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing project costs, contract administration, and commercial matters for interior design and fit-out projects, while ensuring accurate budget control and effective coordination with clients, contractors, suppliers, and consultants.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations, tender submissions, and cost breakdowns for interior design and fit-out projects.
• Able to advise suitable and effective strategies, skills and method in tender pricing;
• Responsible to verify, cost-control of all suppliers, sub-contractor, workers and etc., inclusive project claims and expenses within the budget;
• Prepare pre and post project budget, progress claims, projected cash flow, tender documentations and final accounts;
• Ensure every progress claim, certifications, invoices to clients are issued on timely basis;
• Monitor all contractual record with clients and suppliers are comply as to protect the company interest at all time;
• Source, negotiate and co-ordinate between suppliers, sub-contractors, manufacturers and vendors;
• Assists in the daily project site operations and documentations are in line with the SOP;
• Must be willing to travel outstation as per project needs.
• Undertake other assigned tasks as required.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of working experience as a Quantity Surveyor (QS), preferably in Interior Design (ID), Fit-Out, or Renovation contractor industry.
• Strong understanding of tendering, costing, and contract administration.
• Good negotiation, analytical, and coordination skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic contract documentation.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel outstation when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
