The M&E Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works at project sites, ensuring all works are completed safely, on time, and according to project requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise daily M&E site activities including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and lighting works;
- Monitor installation, maintenance, repair, testing, and troubleshooting of M&E systems;
- Attend to electrical faults, power failures, equipment breakdowns, and emergency repair works;
- Carry out wiring, testing, installation, and connection works when required;
- Supervise site workers, subcontractors, and technicians to ensure work quality and progress;
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, suppliers, and clients for smooth project execution;
- Attend site inspections, meetings, and project discussions when necessary;
- Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed within schedule and quality standards;
- Assist in sourcing and coordinating M&E materials, tools, and equipment;
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition;
- Conduct preventive maintenance and regular inspections to minimize downtime;
- Oversee installation and maintenance of air-conditioning and ventilation systems;
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies;
- Prepare site reports, maintenance records, and project updates;
- Be willing to travel or work at outstation project sites when required;
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level, any field.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in M&E, construction, or building maintenance environment;
- Knowledge in electrical systems, HVAC systems, wiring, and troubleshooting works;
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and M&E schematics;
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
- Good leadership and site coordination abilities;
- Possess own transport and willing to travel/outstation when required;
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision;
- Good communication and teamwork skills;
