Responsibilities

Position : ProTech IT Support Specialist

Salary : RM 3,000 – RM 4,000

Location : Desa Aman Puri, Kepong

Working Hours : 8.30am – 5.30pm / Mon – Fri

Job Summary

We are seeking a ProTech IT Support Specialist to provide technical support for IT and OT environments, ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of hardware, network, and operational systems. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, supporting system maintenance, and delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide daily IT and OT technical support to clients and internal users
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues
  • Monitor, maintain, and perform preventive maintenance on IT and OT equipment
  • Record, track, and resolve incidents through the ticketing system within agreed service levels
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams to provide technical guidance and support
  • Assist in hardware and software testing to ensure quality and functionality before deployment
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities to improve performance and security
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support activities, configurations, and procedures
  • Gather user feedback and recommend improvements to enhance service quality and operational efficiency
  • Support ad-hoc technical projects and assignments as required

Job Requirements

  • Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support, technical support, or related roles
  • Basic knowledge of IT hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting principles
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, operating systems, and end-user support processes
  • Possess own transport; GDL license is an added advantage
  • Willing to travel outstation when required
  • Good communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin
  • Proactive, independent, and strong problem-solving mindset
  • Able to multitask and work effectively under pressure
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholders

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
