Responsibilities

Position : Application Support Assistant Manager

Salary : RM 6,000 - RM 9,000

Location : Desa Aman Puri, Kepong

Working Hours : Monday - Friday (8.30am – 5.30pm)

Job Summary
We are seeking an Application Support Assistant Manager to oversee daily application support operations and ensure high service quality across support teams. This role is responsible for managing support processes, leading team performance, resolving technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain system stability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the Application Support team to ensure timely issue resolution and high customer satisfaction
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve performance targets and support continuous learning
  • Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes in line with IT policies and SLAs
  • Collaborate with Sales, IT Support, and Development teams to improve customer experience and resolve recurring issues
  • Develop and maintain support procedures, technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles
  • Monitor application performance metrics, analyse trends, and prepare operational reports for management
  • Manage support schedules and on-call rotations to ensure continuous service coverage
  • Provide regular updates on system performance, project progress, and key operational issues to stakeholders
  • Assist in prioritising and resolving technical issues to ensure operational continuity and service excellence

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in application support or IT operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) practices including incident, problem, and change management
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities
  • Experience with customer-facing systems, ticketing tools, and performance monitoring platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate effectively across teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical mindset with proactive and solution-oriented approach

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
