Position : Field IT Support Specialist
Salary : RM 3,000 – RM 4,000
Location : Desa Aman Puri, Kepong
Working Hours : 8.30am – 5.30pm / Mon – Fri
Job Summary
We are seeking a Field IT Support Specialist to provide onsite and remote technical support, hardware installation, and maintenance services for customer environments. The role focuses on ensuring smooth deployment, troubleshooting, and operational reliability of IT hardware and systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare, configure, deliver, and install IT hardware and POS systems at customer sites
- Provide onsite and remote support to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Perform system testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance
- Support customer data and image implementation activities as required
- Monitor, update, and resolve support tickets within agreed service levels
- Coordinate with internal teams and customers to ensure timely issue resolution
- Maintain accurate service records and installation documentation
- Perform ad-hoc assignments and field support duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support, hardware installation, or field service roles
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting
- Possess own transport; GDL license is an added advantage
- Willing to travel outstation when required
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin
- Proactive, independent, and able to solve problems effectively
- Able to multitask and work under tight deadlines
- Strong customer service mindset and teamwork skills
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
