Position : Senior DevOps Engineer

Salary Range : RM 4,000 - RM 6,500

Working Location : Imazium, Uptown Damansara

Working Hours : 8.30am – 5.30pm (Monday – Friday)

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to manage, automate, and optimize infrastructure operations to ensure high system availability, scalability, and performance. This role focuses on CI/CD implementation, infrastructure automation, system monitoring, and continuous improvement of deployment and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux servers to ensure system stability, security, and performance
• Manage and optimize production environments, including web servers such as Apache and Nginx
• Administer and optimize databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB for reliability and scalability
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes
• Develop automation scripts and infrastructure management solutions to improve operational efficiency
• Monitor system performance, uptime, and resource utilization while proactively resolving issues
• Perform regular backups, system updates, and patching with minimal service disruption
• Collaborate with development teams to improve release management and deployment workflows
• Implement infrastructure-as-code practices and automation tools for scalable operations
• Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures
• Stay updated with DevOps technologies and best practices including Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Share technical knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong experience in Linux system administration and managing production environments
• Hands-on experience with Apache, Nginx, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform is an advantage
• Strong troubleshooting, system optimization, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities
• Proactive, independent, and capable of working in high-availability environments

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
