Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Assistant to support daily accounting operations. The role involves handling financial records, assisting in reporting, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions in compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining full set of accounts including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner
- Perform data entry and update accounting records into the system
- Assist in bank reconciliation and monitor cash flow
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in closing accounts
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records
- Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and external parties when required
- Support audit activities and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Finance Manager
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., AutoCount, SQL, UBS)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
