Job Description

Responsibilities

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer (Civil) to join our growing team. If you are passionate about quality, accuracy, and ensuring compliance in construction works.

Responsibilities include:
Ensuring all construction work complies with project specifications, standards, and drawings
Preparing quality documentation, method statements & inspection reports
Conducting site inspections and verifying work quality
Coordinating with consultants, clients, and subcontractors
Ensuring non-conformance is identified, rectified, and recorded
Maintaining all QA/QC records properly

Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 1–3 years experience in QA/QC (civil)
- Strong understanding of construction standards and specifications
- Good communication & report writing skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team

Full Job Description – QA/QC Engineer (Civil)

1. Quality Assurance & Quality Control

  • Ensure all civil and structural works comply with project specifications, drawings, codes, and standards.
  • Develop and implement QA/QC procedures, ITP (Inspection & Test Plan), and method statements.
  • Conduct material inspection, work inspection, and ensure compliance before installation.
  • Verify that construction activities follow approved method statements.

2. Site Inspection & Monitoring

  • Perform daily site inspections for structural, architectural, and related civil works.
  • Coordinate and witness tests such as compaction test, slump test, cube test, waterproofing test, etc.
  • Monitor workmanship quality and ensure corrective actions for non-conformance.

3. Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare daily inspection reports (DIR), NCR (Non-Conformance Report), CAR (Corrective Action Report), RFI (Request for Inspection), etc.
  • Maintain proper documentation of test results, quality records, and site reports.
  • Ensure all QA/QC documents are updated and available for audit.

4. Coordination with Project Team

  • Liaise with project managers, site engineers, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Coordinate inspection schedules with consultants and authorities.
  • Attend site meetings, QA/QC meetings, and technical discussions.

5. Material Quality Control

  • Inspect incoming materials and verify they meet approved specifications.
  • Coordinate 3rd-party testing (if required) and ensure results meet required standards.
  • Reject non-compliance materials and ensure proper follow-up action.

6. Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all QA/QC processes comply with safety regulations and local authority requirements.
  • Support safety team during auditing and compliance checks.
