A QA/QC Supervisor monitors, inspects, and enforces quality standards for products or construction projects. They lead inspection teams, conduct compliance audits, track non-conformance reports, and ensure all work aligns with industry regulations and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor QA/QC inspectors and technicians, scheduling daily inspection workflows.
- Inspections & Testing: Oversee incoming, in-Process, and outgoing inspections to ensure quality workmanship and material specifications.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare reports, maintain documentation, and manage NCR (Non-Conformance Report) logs to address and resolve defects.
- Audit & Compliance: Perform internal/external quality audits and ensure the team adheres to standards like ISO 9001 or manufacturing/construction guidelines.
- Vendor & Client Liaison: Verify contractor quality requirements and assist in addressing customer complaints or vendor improvements.
Typical Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial) or a related field.
- Experience: 1–5+ years in QA/QC, inspection, or manufacturing environments, depending on the role's seniority.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints, knowledge of relevant industry standards, and proficiency in using testing tools.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
