Responsibilities
Position : QA Specialist
Salary : RM 3,000 - RM 5,000
Location : Imazium, Uptown Damansara
Working Days : 8.30am – 5.30pm / Mon – Fri
Job Summary
Responsible for supporting the Quality Assurance (QA) process by ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of software products through structured testing and defect tracking.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze system specifications and requirements
- Execute test cases and test scripts to identify software defects
- Document, log, and track defects using issue tracking systems with clear and complete details
- Assist in developing and maintaining test cases, test scripts, and test data
- Support setup and configuration of test environments to ensure readiness for testing activities
- Prepare and manage test data for different testing scenarios to ensure adequate coverage
- Analyze test results and support senior QA engineers in identifying issues, trends, and improvement areas
- Collaborate closely with developers to follow up on defect resolution and retesting
- Continuously improve knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree or professional certification in QA, Software Testing, IT, or related field
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing
- Familiar with QA methodologies, testing processes, and tools
- Experience in system development and full software testing lifecycle is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to document issues clearly and perform basic troubleshooting
- Detail-oriented with good communication and teamwork skills
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
