Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Infrastructure Support

We are seeking an experienced Senior Executive or Assistant Manager in Infrastructure Support to oversee and manage IT infrastructure, network, and storage systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal service levels for internal departments and external customers.
• Provide system support in line with company requirements.
• Perform daily data processing and generate service availability reports for reviews.
• Monitor system backups and conduct routine housekeeping for infrastructure, storage, and network devices.
• Ensure all incidents are acknowledged, responded to, and resolved within agreed SLAs.
• Provide IT support during company events.
• Prepare and manage user access controls, patch management, and release management for IT reviews.
• Handle IT infrastructure-related procurement and invoice management.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, inventory, and configurations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for smooth execution of critical project tasks.
• Work with vendors to document and maintain IT infrastructure configurations.
• Monitor data centre systems and network performance using tools.
• Support cybersecurity activities and participate in audit investigations.
• Drive continuous improvement in infrastructure and network support services.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning simulations.
• Review and update IT policies and procedures periodically.

Requirements

Must-have:

• Professional Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in network and server support/troubleshooting.
• At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity supporting infrastructure and networks for senior roles.
• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in Linux (Red Hat) and Windows Server operating systems.
• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in server virtualization and storage technologies.
• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in networking devices and services (Active Directory, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Packet Shapers, Switches, TCP/IP, DNS, File Services).
• Experience in Microsoft server and Windows platform administration, including network security management and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks such as SC TRM and BNM RMiT.
• Strong team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to work in shifts with minimal supervision.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in the financial services industry is an advantage.
• ITIL certification or experience in Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management is an added advantage.
