We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team at Menara CIMB. This role involves leading and managing system projects and enhancements, ensuring successful delivery from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software implementation within the financial sector.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage department-assigned system projects and enhancements.
  • Provide end-to-end project management for system enhancements and implementations.
  • Develop project charters and plans, and manage project scoping and scheduling.
  • Prepare and obtain budget approvals, and manage project budgets and costs.
  • Establish change control boards and obtain project approvals.
  • Collaborate with teams and vendors to design, develop, and implement projects.
  • Ensure project delivery adheres to quality standards and manage project risks.
  • Conduct weekly status meetings and update management and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present reports to management and steering committees.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and ensure task alignment.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues proactively.
  • Seek opportunities for continuous process improvement.


Requirements

Must-have:

  • At least 5 years of project management experience with a proven track record in software implementation delivery.
  • Experience in handling governance, audit, and compliance for project delivery in the financial/banking industry.
  • Strong skills in project planning, risk management, quality control, implementation, vendor management, and collaboration.
  • Good knowledge of banking/financial services systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and familiarity with project management tools.
  • Skilled in PowerPoint and presentation.


Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with projects in internet banking, mobile applications, or digital delivery projects.
