Job Description

Responsibilities

As a Cloud Engineer at CloudMile, you will play an implementation role to configure or modify cloud environments in accordance with a referencing cloud architecture designed and planned by Solution Architect. You will need to roll up the sleeves working with cross-functional teams in Taiwan; solution architects, software developers, data scientists, and machine learning engineers to build solutions for our focus markets and customers.

Role and Responsibilities

  1. Collaborating with Cloud Architect and Data Scientists and ensuring customers successfully adopt Google Cloud.
  2. Participate in solution design planning, review, and implementation with cloud architects to create enterprise solutions built on GCP.
  3. Develop and maintain technical expertise in assigned areas of product functionality and utilize that expertise effectively to help customers.


Basic Requirements

  1. Technical degree required; Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology background or equivalent experience required
  2. Knowledge of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and distributed networks.
  3. Hands-on experience with Linux installation, operation, setting, and understanding of operating system, network principles, and system debugging.
  4. Hands-on experience with Cloud Services, AWS, Azure or GCP.
  5. Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail
  6. Quick learner; passionate about technology and learns new technology areas as directed


Bonus

  1. Azure, AWS, GCP technical certification
  2. Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Rancher
  3. Hands-on experience with script languages, such as python, Node.js
  4. Participating in the Agile DevOps design, development, testing, and release of new capabilities and features with a focus on release and post-production maintenance.
