Operating at a strategic, cross-functional level, you will align supplier capability, scalability, and flexibility with demanding business and customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead supplier identification, strict qualification frameworks, and rigorous performance management globally
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives targeting supplier cost reduction, lead time compression, and inventory optimization

  • Partner seamlessly with internal stakeholders across Supply Chain, Materials, SQE, NPI, Engineering, and Operations
  • Establish, track, and report on global category KPIs spanning supplier performance, supply continuity, quality, and delivery

Requirements:

  • In-depth, proven experience in category management is strictly required.
  • Deep background operating within high-mix, low-volume (HMLV) or engineer-to-order (ETO) manufacturing structures.
  • Solid footprint in complex sectors like electro-mechanical assembly, medical devices, aerospace, defense, or industrial equipment.
  • Exceptional track record in high-stakes supplier negotiation, structural cost-out initiatives, and supplier qualification.
  • Strong people leadership capabilities with a history of leading regional or global teams and managing senior stakeholders across diverse cultures.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. APICS / CPIM certification is a highly valued advantage.
