Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Sales Manager role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur, with some flexibility to work from home. The Sales Manager will identify and develop new business opportunities for managed security, blockchain consultancy, and IT solutions, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and managing the full sales cycle. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering presentations and proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals with new and existing clients. The role involves collaborating closely with technical and consulting teams to design solutions that meet customer requirements and ensure successful handover after sale. The Sales Manager will monitor market trends, maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecasts, and provide regular reports on performance and customer feedback. The role also includes building long-term client relationships and representing the company at meetings, events, and industry activities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in IT, cybersecurity, or managed services, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of IT solutions, managed security services, and ideally basic knowledge of blockchain concepts and applications.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions in clear business terms.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships, manage multiple accounts, and prioritize opportunities effectively.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid environment, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, sales analytics, and pipeline management; proficiency in standard office and collaboration software.
  • Willingness to travel within the region for client meetings, events, and other business needs as required.
