LPS Hiring! Full Time Network Engineer in - Ricebowl

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network L2 Engineer to join our ICT Infrastructure team. As a Network L2 Engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation of client’s network infrastructure and maintains regular BAU activities, which includes Fortinet and Check Point firewalls, Alcatel switches, WLAN, Alcatel, Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) and F5 load Balancer devices. You will play a critical role in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our network services.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Network Maintenance and support: Perform routine maintenance tasks on Network devices, including firmware updates, patches and configurations. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime. Monitor Network performance and proactively address bottleneck or anomalies

2. Network Deployment: Deployment of LAN including build, configure, test. Tech refreshes the network devices such as Firewalls, Core switches, access switches, server farm switches and Vendor coordination for the AP replacement and other Network devices RMA tasks.

3.Firewall Management: Configure, manage, and maintain Fortinet and Check Point firewalls to ensure network security. Implement and maintain firewall policies to control traffic and protect against threats.

4.Switch Management: Configure Alcatel switches, ensuring optimal performance and network segmentation. Troubleshoot and resolve LAN/WAN connectivity issues.

5.Access Control and Authentication: Administer Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) for user authentication and access control. Ensure compliance with security policies and standards.

6.Documentation: Build accurate network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, asset inventory and SOPs.

7.Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams, including system administrators and security experts, to achieve common network goals.

8.Security Compliance: Ensure that network configurations and policies comply with industry best practices and security standards. Do regular firewall rule review and to ensure all the firewall rules are following security standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing Fortinet and Check Point firewalls.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Alcatel switches.
• Hands-on experience with Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) or similar access control systems.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching, and Wi-Fi standards (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Alcatel switches and CPPM NAC
• Industry certifications such as Fortinet NSE4 and Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) would be a plus.
• Cisco Certified Network professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification is required.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
