Director, AI Solutions Architect

About The Opportunity

As Director, AI Solutions Architect at Entermind AI, you will define the technical blueprint for Entermind's most complex client engagements: multi-agent orchestration platforms, retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, AI customer data platforms and predictive analytics systems. Client-facing, you will be the trusted technical authority. On delivery, you will be the orchestrator between the technical, design and strategy team, owning the project milestones and ensure that what was architected actually lands in production. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Pre-Sales & Solutioning

• Act as primary technical advisor in pre-sales engagements: leading discovery workshops, scoping POCs, writing technical sections of proposals and SOWs and presenting solution architectures to CDO/CTO/CIO buyers.
• Lead technical due diligence for AI deployment opportunities, assessing existing client data estates, API landscapes and technology infrastructure for AI readiness and integration complexity.
• Structure commercial proposals for POC engagements: gated delivery milestones, success metrics, risk management provisions and cost modelling for scale-up phases.
• Translate complex AI architectures into executive-readable narrative for stakeholder presentations and investment approval papers.

Client Engagement

• Manage monthly or quarterly business reviews for active engagements, ensuring client leadership remains aligned on progress, risks and roadmap.
• Identify and develop account growth opportunities: new use cases, expanded deployments, and follow-on engagements emerging from delivery work and bring these to the attention of the commercial team.
• Manage client escalations and issues with composure being the person who calls the client before the client calls you and who has a resolution path ready when they do.

Delivery Leadership

• Lead delivery teams including Applied AI Engineers, Data Engineers, Prompt Architects, Platform Specialists, Experience designers across multiple concurrent client engagements, from sprint planning through to production sign-off.
• Own project delivery milestones, resource allocation and cost management for your engagements flagging risks early and making trade-off decisions with clarity and transparency.
• Manage client-side integration dependencies coordinating with client engineering, data, and infrastructure teams to unblock delivery and maintain momentum.

Practice Building

• Drive continuous improvement of Entermind's core technical assets: prompt libraries, RAG pipeline templates, evaluation frameworks, agentic workflow blueprints.
• Contribute to Entermind's thought leadership, proposals and capability materials representing the firm's technical perspective on applied AI.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Required Skills

• 8+ years of tech strategy and solutioning, data architecture or ML engineering experience in enterprise environments, with at least the last 3 years in a client-facing consulting, professional services or account leadership role.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and delivering production LLM-based systems for enterprise clients shipped to production, not prototype-only.
• Proficiency in at least one enterprise cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience leading delivery teams on complex, multi-workstream engagements: managing resources, milestones, escalations and client dependencies concurrently.
• Experience writing technical scopes of work solution design documents and architecture decision records for enterprise clients in a consultancy or professional services context.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms: Databricks Mosaic AI, AWS Bedrock with agent tools, Google Vertex AI Agent Builder or Azure AI Studio.
• Demonstrated experience scoping and delivering AI POCs for approval, including commercial structuring, gated milestone design and transition planning from POC to production.
• Postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or Engineering.
• Active cloud certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional ML Engineer or Azure AI Engineer Associate.
